Feel free to bring along enough personal gear to make your day comfortable. Please bring it in a day-pack. Some suggestions of articles to bring are: rain gear, sunglasses, binoculars, shoes that you don't mind getting wet and are comfortable for hiking, a hat to shade the eyes while spotting birds' nests, suntan lotion, and wear comfortable clothing, field clothing, please.

FULL DAY TOUR


 
  8:30 a.m. -  Meet in Kuna and land tour to prepare for river trip.
12:30 p.m. - Arrive Swan Falls dam restrooms and lunch with Morley.
1:30 p.m. - Board boat for trip up canyon to nesting sights
4:00 p.m. - Back at Swan Falls dam and restroom stop.
5:15 p.m. - Back to Kuna

"BIRDS OF PREY EXPEDITIONS" SCHOOL TOURS


 
  9:00 a.m. - 
Meet at the Kuna visitors center information booth.
Our guide will board your bus for the trip to Swan
Falls Dam and give an introduction to the area.
A few quick stops will be made at points of interest
along the way.
11:00 a.m. - Arrive at Swan Falls Dam for a restroom stop and
lunch before boarding the boat for the trip up the canyon.
12:15 p.m. - Begin boat trip for bird observation and identification as
well as history and geology lesson pertaining to the Snake
River Canyon.
12:30 p.m. - View nesting raptors on the canyon walls.
2:30 p.m. - Return to bus. Restroom stop before the trip back to
school.

MOTHER'S DAY SPECIAL 
These are our yearly budget tours.
  9:30 a.m. - Meet Kuna and board bus for land tour.
12:00 p.m. -  Lunch at Swan Falls Dam (bring your own).
Board boat for rest of afternoon.
  3:30 p.m. - Off river and back on bus to Kuna.

This is a budget trip without food. We provide the guide, boat, and all safety equipment and show you the nesting areas and tell you about the history of the areas.

$60.00 per person
Tax and use fee and fuel surcharge not included.
 
 


Expeditions’ has a 25year record of service and safety on the river. WSRT is
licensed and bonded by the Idaho Outfitters and Guides Board operating under a BLM special use permit.
