SNAKE RIVER "BIRDS OF PREY" TOUR

9:00 AM While driving to the Snake River area, we will make a few stops to view nesting sites as well as other historical and geological points of interest. We will have time to set up spotting scopes so that everyone will get a bird’s-eye view of the young birds hidden in their nests on the canyon walls.

12:30 AM Arrive at Swan Falls Dam for a restroom stop. We will then enjoy a deluxe buffet style lunch with Morley Nelson as he is able.

1:45 PM Board the boat for the trip up the canyon. We will make several stops to view the nesting raptors.

4:30 PM Arrive back at Swan Falls Dam for a restroom stop before we board the bus for the return trip to Kuna.

5:15 PM Arrive Kuna.

Please feel free to bring along enough personal gear to make your day comfortable. Anything you bring with you should be in a day pack. Some suggestions of useful items include: Raingear, sunglasses, binoculars, comfortable shoes which are suitable for short hikes, a hat to shade your eyes while spotting bird nests, sunblock, and please- wear comfortable, layered clothing.
